Highfields Sports Pavilion
Following our appointment as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyors and CDM Coordinator’s on the new Pavilion for the University of Nottingham at the Highfields Sports ground, Gaskell are pleased to announce that works have now started on site. The Contractor GF Tomlinson commenced on 27 July and despite the recent bad weather, have almost completed the foundations. The new two storey building which comprises, changing rooms, coaching facilities and storage on the ground floor and attractive lounge and leisure areas on the first floor, will provide a 21st century facility to reflect the University’s standing in inter University sports. It will mainly serve the cricket, rugby and football teams and is due for completion in early 2010.
The rest of the team comprises, A&G Architects, Norder Structural Engineers, D3 Services Engineers and of course the University of Nottingham’s Estates Department. Please revisit this site at a later date to see more up to date images of the scheme as it progresses.
