Cambourne Church, Cambourne

cambourne1

The Project:

In 2002, Shared Churches (Ely) set about a mammoth fundraising exercise to raise funds for the construction of a church and community centre in the new town of Cambourne in Cambridgeshire.

In March 2009 Kier Marriott commenced work on site to construct the new church designed by Bland, Brown & Cole.

Gaskell were appointed as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyors and CDM Coordinators on the project and were involved from initial inception, through design development, contract negotiations and construction.

In February 2014, Shared Churches (Ely) approached Gaskell again with a view to advising on phases 2 and 3. Based on the cost advice given, Shared Churches (Ely) are now raising funds for the next two phases.
